Earn Kroger Fuel Points With Groceries
When grocery shopping you will receive one fuel point for each dollar you spend on qualifying grocery items.
Here are some items that are not eligible for fuel points:
- Alcohol
- Stamps and Money Orders
- Promotional tickets
- Deposits for products
- Taxes and fees
- Tobacco products
- Some states exclude Milk and milk products.
If you purchase items within the Fuel Centers at Kroger or Kroger family stores, these will not earn points.
Gain Fuel Points At the Pharmacy
You can gain fuel points at the pharmacy when you have your prescriptions filled.
Here’s the breakdown of how many points you will get:
- Prescriptions receive 25 points. ( this is only applicable to non-government funded prescriptions.)
- Earn one point per out of pocket dollar spent on federally funded prescriptions.
- Accumulate 75 gas points with 90 day prescriptions.

Buy Gift Cards and Earn Fuel Points
At Kroger, you can earn fuel points on the gift cards. Each dollar you spend on qualifying gift cards will earn you 2 fuel points.
Does Kroger Fuel Points Expire?
Yes, the Kroger fuel rewards expire within a month of being earned. The customer can accumulate as many fuel points as they wish within a month. One fuel point is equal to ten cents of fuel. At 100 points, they can be redeemed at Kroger family fuel stations.
If you do not have enough Kroger fuel points saved up on your Fuel card, you can still save money at the pump by scanning your Shopper’s card.
